Our research efforts are to establish a synergy between novel nanostructures, optics (plasmonics and photonics), biology and electro-kinetics (microfluidics and nanofluidics) and integrate them to develop transformative and disruptive new sensor technologies that meet (or exceed) the WHO ASSURED criteria for point-of-care devices. We envision a host of applications from cancer diagnostics, VOC detection in groundwater, opioid detection to remote sensing of pathogens in the air.
